He has co-founded many of South Africa's largest Internet marketing & product companies such as the incuBeta group (responsible for Click2Customers, TrafficSynergy, & Yola) & Springleap, and Social Network meets Crowdsourcing evly.com

Eric is passionate about all types of online marketing, but especially pay per click, search engine optimization, affiliate marketing and social media. Eric speaks regularly at tech conferences, and writes for business & technology media. Eric spent the first half of 2011 living in San Francisco and Silicon Valley and is now based between San Francisco and Cape Town, South Africa.

Eric also curates a weekly newsletter, called "The Startup Digest" (sent out 1st thing every Monday) where he suggests the best events that the tech community in Cape Town should attend. Eric joined ZunguZ in the capacity of CEO, one of the first social payment apps available on Facebook.
